Hi Team I need to run a query something like
select count(*) from tableName where columnName = 'Text'
I added this columnName to bloomFilter
Now Im trying to see the efficiency of the query
while looking into the columns of
numEntriesScannedInFilter 10
numEntriesScannedPostFilter 5
Number of scanned Filter is showing greater number than postFilter.
Is it okay to be like this or by indexing doesn't work properly
How do I verify the efficiency of the bloom filter that it worked?
Under which indexing where clause column should be added. if its wrong to add under bloom Filter
Kindly help me out plz #CDRCA57FC#C011C9JHN7R

This is expected. If you had total docs N, then only 10 of those scanned after applying index, and then further reduced to 5 for applying predicate

If you use inv index, it will be 0.

Will it affect the efficiency in later stages??

What’s in later stages?

when the dataset size or number of entries increases

In general, no. But need to understand your workload (use case, query, data size) if you are looking for recommendations on index tuning.
