Hi Team, I'm working on table configuration where i like to configure ingestionConfig. From my kafka topic Im getting an event which has array based json structured like [{"SubName":"English", "Result":"Pass"},{"SubName":"Maths", "Result":"Pass"}...] this comes under the column for markList Now I like to create a new column in pinot which has name of Subject, Result during the time of ingestion I like to break the above arrayJson and place the subject and result in respective column. For that I added transformConfig Under ingestionConfig

but this is not working I'm getting "null" value under the column Subject. Kindly help me out #CDRCA57FC #C011C9JHN7R

Hi @Naveen.K Please take a look at server log. you might find why the transformation doesn’t work as expected. i think you might try • subject should be a multi-valued field • transformation func can be

"transformFunction": "jsonPathArray(marklist, '$.[*].SubName')"

• you can use regex to see if the marklist contains

Sub_name
