Hi Team, We are sending an event to Kafka which has a field which is of "Object" type. Other fields are of String type. When Pinot is reading from this Kafka, it is able to read and map all the other fields to the columns in the table except the object type one. The Object actually contains a JSON (Sent from java as a JSONObject). How do we make Pinot understand it and map the Object to a JSON field in the table. Thanks! cc : @Vivek Vikash

JSON in Pinot is actually strong as a string representation. Try if you can serialize this to string with ingestion transform (groovy):
