We are on 0.10.x and would not waste the efforts in moving to a higher version if we have 1.0.0 coming soon .

Should probably ask about the compatibility of going directly from 0.10 to 1.0.0 ; afaik, there have been some compatibility wrinkles doing skip-level upgrades.
