Hi team, I come across this line in the UPSERT <https://docs.pinot.apache.org/basics/data-import/upsert#upsert-table-limitations:~:text=The%20star%2Dtree%20index%20cannot%20be%20used%20for%20indexing%2C%20as%20the%20star%2Dtree%20index%20performs%20pre%2Daggregation%20during%20the%20ingestion.|doc>:
&gt; The star-tree index cannot be used for indexing, as the star-tree index performs pre-aggregation during the ingestion.
I wonder if this applies to SegmentPurger/RecordPurger minion job as well? Say if some records are purged by the job, would the aggregation result from the star-tree index get updated afterward?

I assume it doesn’t since purger is going to <https://apache-pinot.slack.com/archives/CDRCA57FC/p1598907180083100?thread_ts=1598906266.080700&amp;cid=CDRCA57FC|upload> the segment with the same key hence the aggregation result would be regenerated?

Segment purger will regenerate the segment, which also regenerates the startree index
