Hi All Installed Pinot on ubuntu & started the Pinot components(zookeeper,controller &server) , the issue is when the server didn't get any input or server is idle pinot service stops, annoyed to start the components on regular basis,can somebody could guide .

can you see anything in server logs indicating an error? you can try creating a docker image with the basic components and play around with Pinot. There are also other ways to setup/run Pinot per doc - https://docs.pinot.apache.org/basics/getting-started#running-pinot

How did you install? Source, tar ball or docker image

Have downloaded from the below link & installed https://downloads.apache.org/pinot/apache-pinot-0.9.3/apache-pinot-0.9.3-bin.tar.gz

I just tried the tar from your link on my MacOS and it seems to work fine.

how did you conclude that the service stopped? can you share the commands you used to start the components?

when launched the url the components was not loaded it was spinning and not connecting below are commands i used to start the components /pinot-admin.sh StartZookeeper -dataDir /datadir path /zkData & ./pinot-admin.sh StartController -configFileName /path of config file/pinot-controller.conf & ./pinot-admin.sh StartServer -configFileName /path of config filepinot-server.conf & ./pinot-admin.sh StartBroker -configFileName /path of config file/pinot-broker.conf &

by default, the pinot component logs should be available under

logs/

directory, unless you have customized your log config. can you check the log file for any errors? I am not sure if stdout gets redirected into these logs

checked the logs, didn't find any errors

is there any network changes?

Hmm, when you say Pinot service stopped, it's zk/server or broker or controller is stopped or some/all of them are stopped?
