Apache Pinot

Hi Team, I have a pinot cluster with only 1 zookeeper. I wanted to increase it to a cluster of 3. But creating a cluster will mean bringing down the only running zookeeper first. How do I gracefully handle this?

you can do no downtime scale zk from 1-&gt;3 . there is a pretty long manually process for that

can you point me to a documentation for this?

you need to scale zk from 1-&gt; node cluster with quorum then add the 3rd node

1. keep zk-1 with one one server, then create zk-2 with zoo.cfg containing two nodes, so it can read data from zk-1
```server.1=ip1:2888:3888
server.2=ip2:2888:3888```
2. once zk-2 caught up, make zk-1 and zk-2 config to
```server.1=ip1:2888:3888
server.2=ip2:2888:3888
server.3=ip3:2888:3888```
3. start zk-3
