hey @User @User I am planning to take this week & early next week to update upsert design doc to address the great feedback Subbu gave me earlier this week. After it is done, I want to see if I can have a meeting with you two early next week to see how we should approach adding this feature in pinot. Do you think if you have some time available to meet virtually and chat next week Tue -> Thurs?

@User I will provide feedback on your google doc. Before we meet next, please address the feedback there. Also, make sure you bring in all the feedback on the wiki into the google doc. Let us have one doc, finalize the deign before we start sumitting PRs

I completed a partial review of yuor doc, and completely lost it after some details. I think we need another discussion, meanwhile, if you can address the comments that exist, maybe I will be able to follow the other parts of it better

@User @User @User sent the 2nd diff for pinot upsert related changes - this change focus on adding necessary interface to pinot component so we can keep the append-only logic the same while upsert-enabled table can inject their logics to appropriate places. The diff is a bit large in order to include the interface that we added and make the necessary changes in pinot core/server to make sure we reflect how we plan to call those interface, please let me know any high-level comment so I can better structure it
