Hi Folks, I PR’d a new presto pinot connector that subsumes the above one and has the pushdown support etc on top of the new prestodb pushdown framework. We have been using it at Uber for a while now. Please take a look at <https://github.com/prestodb/presto/pull/13504> and feel free to review and try it out. Thanks. Technically, presto connectors like hive, mysql support both Insert and select..

Since, I was waiting for presto-pinot connector to become official. I just asked for clarity..

Presto Pinot connector does not support inserts, we will have to write a output format for that. 

Okay!. I thought for batch instead of loading from hdfs into Presto, use airflow and presto cli to do `INSERT INTO pinottable Select * from hive...`

Yes. That makes a lot of sense. Can you file an issue?
