Hi 👋 , could someone please assist on this? I’m using Flink
1.15.2
and Flink Kubernetes Operator
1.2.0
After deploying a batch job, it completed successfully (job state: FINISHED), but the JobManager is still running. Is there a way to automatically clean up resources after batch job execution?
l
set up
kubernetes.operator.jm-deployment.shutdown-ttl
https://github.com/apache/flink-kubernetes-operator/pull/437 However, I am not sure which version operator it needs. Also, flinkdeployment object needs to be cleared up even the job manager shutdown.
gratitude thank you 1

It is from
1.3.0
, so I’ll have to upgrade the operator first 😅
flinkdeployment object needs to be cleared up even the job manager shutdown
So when using Flink batch jobs together with Flink Kubernetes Operator, there is no other way of clearing resources rather than manually (or in cronjob) calling
kubectl delete …
?

I asked this before here but I couldn't get any answer. I had to write a cronjob to delete the flinkdeployment. But I don't think it consumes any resource ( CPU or memory)

Understood 🙂, thanks a lot for your help!
