Honestly, I played around with Apache Flink those days, for realtime or nearby realtime CDC / MySQL processing and I am a little bit confused whether this project is really "alive". Some important connectors for MySQL CDC and elasticsearch are outdated, questions from people asking where development roadmap stands, and how this project can achieve support for MySQL 8.4 and above and elasticsearch 9 and many more dependcies on the JAVA-stack weren´t discussed seriously and / or no feedback was given.
