Across several companies, I've seen ASF Flink succeed and fail, both in spectacular ways. I completed a series I started in 2024 to help folks get up to speed with pyflink. While I imagine in the AI age, folks are having less problems getting started, I wanted to share since the example repo supports both local development and packaging for AWS Managed Apache Flink. (Getting uber jar deps for pyflink job is definitely a common hurdle I've seen).
