10/23/2023, 6:43 AMWe deliberately decided against that when starting the Flink slack workspace. We can have another discussion on the Dev mailing list, but users currently already post stuff in the wrong channel, so having more channels will probably just create more noise ๐

10/24/2023, 6:50 AMI am sure you are right, but this might be the case at the start. If channels are exposed properly and if PMCs redirect queries to the right channels, the community will eventually pick it up.
Reading and deciding if a troubleshooting post is about Python ๐ is already a hassle. It seems straightforward but personally if I see a question ๐โโ๏ธ in a dedicated Python channel I am more likely to read and try to respond.
Whatโs wrong with trying it?
