hei, one question regarding apache flink training. What is the best company for offering flink training? We would need tailored contents and tackle somewhat specialized topics as we have been using flink for over 2 years in production. I have checked ververica's page but it seems that most of the talented ververica contributors have left to other companies like confluent or decodable. Any experience you have had regarding flink training would be great! Thanks!

I can't advise on that, since I don't want to mix commercial topics with the open source principles that we're following here in the ASF Flink workspace, especially since my employer also active in the Flink space

This isn't really true.

my apologies, I didnt want to hurt feelings nor I meant that ververica is in any way inferior though I m aware sounded exactly like that. My concern is that most of the online videos I have been watching have been produced by people who no longer work in ververica. But we totally have ververica as one of the first options as training providers!. sorry for the mess

Hi Oscar, no worries. First of all, let’s focus on open source topics in this workspace. Second, I care more about what you need than what you said. If you could spend more time on ververica’s blog posts, you will find a lot of fresh new publicly available tech blogs with very deep Flink knowledge done by our talents recently. More are coming. IMHO, it belongs to the training content you are looking for. For commercial trainings, there are many providers on the market. Please feel free to reach out to Ververica for more info which should not be talked in this workspace. Thank you for your understanding and enjoy your time working with Flink!

Similar to @Martijn Visser, I don't want to comment on this in this context because I have a bias. I'll just say that there is definitely great training out there, generally speaking. Most (all?) of those that provide training typically customize that training as necessary. When I worked at Cloudera (eons ago), we did that for those open source projects where necessary.
