Is there any way to hide our email addresses from the other 2800 people on this slack? Since joining I’ve started to receive spam and didn’t realize I had shared personal info so widely. Checking a few random members seems like everyone’s email is fully exposed. Seems inappropriate for a public group this size. Is some admin able to check a box to allow us to hide email addresses in our profile? The preferences options only seem to do with limiting our emails in search results

(in case it isn’t obvious your email often includes your first and last name, employer, etc… seems like an obvious attack vector for phishing, targeting your company etc )

It must be some setting as in another slack I don't see the email addresses of others.

I'm very sorry for this misconfiguration. Thanks for bringing this up. I updated the settings, the email addresses should be hidden now.
