08/07/2023, 3:34 PMflink-conf.yaml file? More specifically, I'm using the Flink K8s Operator with the following config excerpt:
flinkConfiguration:
metrics.reporter.dghttp.apikey: ${DD_API_KEY}
The problem is that the operator puts those variables in a configmap which is finally mounted in the flink-conf.yaml file but no variable interpolation is performed and because of that the API key is invalid (not propagated as expected)...
java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: API key: ${DD_API_KEY} is invalid
What is the recommended/common way to work around this? Is the operator capable of performing this interpolation out of the box (I haven't found how) or that should be handled by users using initContainers for example?sap1ens
08/07/2023, 4:45 PMIs there any way to interpolate/resolve env vars within theNo, it’s not supported. But you look at using the FLINK_PROPERTIES env var, check this thread: https://lists.apache.org/thread/m9qnr2jv59ltr4r9dyhl3lg54qhmf3ojfile?flink-conf.yaml
