Hello everyone. I'm having trouble submitting a task to a Flink cluster with Docker Compose in session mode. 1. downloaded Flink and entered the folder 2. created the
docker-compose.yml
file 3. pasted the content of the link 4. run
docker-copose up
5. run
./bin/flink run ./examples/streaming/WordCount.jar
apparently the flink cluster is not recognized. But if I compile flink with maven, instead of downloading the binaries from the website, it works normally. Is this a bug?

Are you running this command within the container? You need to run something like docker exec -it <jobmanager-container> ./bin/flink run ….

@Giannis Polyzos according to the website, if I have Flink installed locally and running in the container simultaneously, I can execute the command
./bin/flink run ./examples/streaming/WordCount.jar
from outside the container. This works when I compile Flink from the source code but it doesn't work if I download the binaries from the website.
