Hi all, I am facing issues with connecting to cassandra from flink cluster after upgrading underlying VM jdk’s version from 8 to 11. Any help is appreciated.
com.datastax.driver.core.exceptions.NoHostAvailableException: All host(s) tried for query failed (com.datastax.driver.core.exceptions.TransportException: Error writing)
It may be caused by one of the following : • Flink (v 1.14.3-scala_2.12), • Flink Cassandra Connector (flink-connector-cassandra_2.11:jar 1.14.3 version (tried with latest version too)), • Cassandra v 4.0.7 • Netty transport (v 4.1.34.Final). These are the env java options we are providing to flink
Copy code
-Dhttps.protocols="TLSv1.2"
-Djdk.tls.client.protocols=TLSv1.2
-Djdk.tls.allowUnsafeServerCertChange=true
-Dsun.security.ssl.allowUnsafeRenegotiation=true

It looks like you're mixing versions. You're running Flink 1.14.3 with Scala 2.12, but you're using a Scala 2.11 driver. Then you're talking about using the latest version, but have you then also upgraded your Flink cluster?

I even tried with scala 2.12 that also didn’t solved the problem.
