Apache Flink

hey all :wave: has anybody connected the flink sql gateway (on "hive" mode) to an AWS Glue Catalog (to find tables and what not)? I was able to connect to the "rest" mode easily by just doing the normal flink sql configure catalog -&gt; glue flags.

I've gone down the rabbit hole of trying to <https://github.com/awslabs/aws-glue-data-catalog-client-for-apache-hive-metastore|get this> (I didn't finish, but this was my last ditch effort)


To get this working:

	&lt;name&gt;hive.metastore.client.factory.class&lt;/name&gt;
	&lt;value&gt;com.amazonaws.glue.catalog.metastore.AWSGlueDataCatalogHiveClientFactory&lt;/value&gt;
&lt;/property&gt;```
Because hive-mode goes here

And there's no hive.metastore.uri that I can find for the aws glue data catalog :disappointed:

I don't think that's yet possible, given that <https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/FLINK-29549> is still open
