Hii all I want to understand savepoint v/s checkpoint in little more detail. What all extra things are stored in savepoint compared to checkpoint ? I can see there is a significant difference in their sizes.

Savepoints are manually triggered by the user/administrator (for maintenance, upgrade, ...). Checkpoints are managed by Flink alone. For the difference in size, this could be because of incremental checkpointing? I'm not sure how they are displayed in the UI. (I.e Total size vs new incr. checkpoint size.) Might want some insights from other flink users tho
