Hi everyone, the flink docs for kafka state the following regarding upgrading the flink connector:

Do not upgrade Flink and the Kafka Connector version at the same time.

With the Kafka Connector, its meant don’t upgrade from FlinkKafkaConsumer/FlinkKafkaProducer to KafkaSource/KafkaSink at the same time as upgrading to a newer Flink version
