Hi team, qq on Application upgrade rollbacks in flink operator. It is marked as

since v1.0 and still has

Experimental

tag in latest version v1.4. But wondering if anyone using it in production and ran into any issues or it is a pretty stable feature 🙂 Thanks!

It only works for Application deployments (and not for session jobs). Otherwise I think the feature is pretty solid but we only have some very rudimentary stability conditions (if the job went into running properly we won’t roll it back anymore)

Thanks Gyula. We are more interested in failure after an upgrade and an option to auto rollback.

That should work in many cases however the current rollback mechanism won't be able to handle all the failure scenarios
