Hello, I got this error
Serializer consumed more bytes than the record had. This indicates broken serialization. If you are using custom serialization types (Value or Writable), check their serialization methods. If you are using a Kryo-serialized type, check the corresponding Kryo serializer.
My event structure is as follows: {ip:
152.89.196.211
, ts:
2023-03-04T23:12:26Z
} IP: String, ts: Instant Can anyone help me? TIA.
d
Which deserializer are you using? (Could you be using the wrong avro deserializer?)
t
I'm using the default serializer
d
Ok, then what event type is being serialized?
t
The event contains ip and ts ip is string which is the key, and ts is the timestamp as long
d
Yes, but what type is the event? Is it a Tuple2, or a POJO, or a class that isn’t a POJO, or … ?
t
Tuple2
d
It would help to see what the code is doing. Specifically, the code that is taking data from the source and building it into a stream of Tuple2. (Or maybe the problem is upstream in another job — maybe this job’s input wasn’t correctly serialized in the first place.)
t
Nice. Thank you
