In Imply Pivot there is the notion of Filter Tokens (DOC PAGE HERE) which allow you to impose filter conditions on users through the visualization layer. I do not know if there is an equivalent in OSS Druid.

there aren't currently sub-datasource-level permissions available in Druid. As John mentions, various frontend apps do offer this if you're always going through a particular app
