Can you email dev@druid and we can discuss there?
We should consider 3 options
1) Use an ASF-supplied S3 bucket
2) Use an S3 bucket supplied by a 3rd party. I believe Imply would be willing to supply this
3) Use Minio (https://min.io/) or something similar instead of real S3
Personally, I feel (2) or (3) is a good option given the hesitation by Infra.
Anyway, please write to dev@druid, and link the thread here (using permalink from https://lists.apache.org/list.html?dev@druid.apache.org). I will reply with these thoughts and then we can see what others say as well 🙂
