I came across this discussion from about a year ago, but, so far, not finding much else.

unfortunately i'm not too experienced with the prometheus emitter! i would suggest starting by looking to see if there are any emitter warnings or errors in your service logs — perhaps start with the Broker log, which should emit something for each query
