why is the default for

druid.announcer.skipSegmentAnnouncementOnZk

false but the default for

druid.serverview.type

is http? If we are using http, why announce segments on zk ? is it still needed for something?

I think it's just there for backwards compatibility / support for rolling update from a version that doesn't understand http serverview. At this point, it's been a while and I think we should be fine to change the default to skip announcements
