ah, i was just merging content in from another docs page

is possibly worth revisiting some of those things

I see we still also recommend disabling them in the "basic cluster tuning" <https://docs.imply.io/latest/druid/operations/basic-cluster-tuning/#other-generally-useful-jvm-flags|page>.  And AWS talks about how to enable "huge pages" for RDS (eg), but I notice it doesn't say "transparent huge pages".  So maybe still wise to disable, idk.

Clickhouse currently still recommends disabling it on their <https://clickhouse.com/docs/operations/tips#huge-pages|docs>

But with the caveat of older kernel versions

i definitely remember it having issues in the past, i just not sure if anyone has actually revisited it in like 10 years or so :sweat_smile:
