Has anyone here ever tried to use Druid as an alternative to traditional time series DBs like influx or Prometheus?
In general, I'm wondering if it's a valid use case to try and use druid for queries that don't have aggregations. Seems like Superset won't even allow me to plot a line chart without an aggregation and a group by in the query.

We have seen a number of folks that have moved from Influx to Druid. Druid does handle queries without aggregation (They're called scan queries natively). However, generally speaking, time series visualizations will involve aggregation as you will usually want to bucket the events into a fixed granularity for graphing.

Right, I’ve tried scan queries and even non native syntax with plain sql - like select * queries. They work nicely, but it’s very hard to viz them with superset. I couldn’t find a way to run queries without aggregations in superset.
