Hi Vaibhav, thanks for your interest! We also use the
Contributions Welcome
label. Added both the labels: https://github.com/apache/druid/issues?q=is%3Aopen+is%3Aissue+label%3A%22Contributions+Welcome%22%2C%22Starter%22+ There are some refactoring changes and small features in the mix. Let us know if anything interests you, and we can assist you if needed.
also, this is a useful feature that’s probably worth reviving: https://github.com/apache/druid/pull/10745 If you are interested in this feature, you can pull their branch, rebase and add more changes. Let us know if you have any questions, help with review, etc 👍

Hi @Abhishek Balaji Radhakrishnan I can pick up the mentioned issue https://github.com/apache/druid/pull/10745 . I need some help in 1. What all files to change in code for this feature 2. How can I set this up on my local Do I have to pick it where kaijianding:resetToTime fork left as per PR?
a

The Kinesis client also exposes that functionality, so it’d probably be good to include that in the change for parity with kafka or can be done in a follow-up too. You could checkout the PR locally, cherry-pick their commits to your fork and test it with a local kafka cluster. Also, this readme should help get you started with setting up your env
