Hello, I set up the Druid authorization extension, and I can access the console with the new users all just fine but I'm having issues to configure metabase to connect to druid now, both the new driver and the old. Metabase uses the /druid/v2/sql/avatica/ endpoint and not the simple
druid/v2/sql
endpoint I tried to add an proxy to inject the Authorization header but that not the issue, there's one endpoint returning 500 with
Copy code
AvaticaRuntimeException: [Messsage: 'Unauthorized', Error code: '2', SQL State: '00002', Severity: 'ERROR']\n\tat org.apache.druid.sql.avatica.DruidMeta.doAuthenticate(DruidMeta.java:308)\n\tat org.apache.druid.sql.avatica.DruidMeta.prepare(DruidMeta.java:279)\n\tat org.apache.calcite.avatica.remote.LocalService.apply(LocalService.java:195)\n\tat org.apache.calcite.avatica.remote.Service
Should I add some extra config on the druid env to set the password/authroizer on the avatica server as well? Anyone using druid with auth+metabase?
I'm out of ideas, I tried so many different params
I tried using this https://gist.github.com/renatocron/08053e8fcd03659d2d95765d8e405e86#file-proxy-js to set parsedBody.user = USER; parsedBody.password = PASS; or parsedBody.info.user = USER; parsedBody.info.password = PASS; into each request but this also fails Using debug-log I was able to get more info from the stack org.apache.druid.sql.avatica.DruidMeta - Connection [6742f646-e788-4bc9-846b-6c40416c1961] opened. org.apache.druid.jetty.RequestLog - 10.244.1.95 POST //10.244.6.190:8088/druid/v2/sql/avatica/ HTTP/1.1 200 org.apache.druid.jetty.RequestLog - 10.244.1.95 POST //10.244.6.190:8088/druid/v2/sql/avatica/ HTTP/1.1 200 org.apache.druid.sql.avatica.DruidMeta - Attempting authentication with authenticator [class org.apache.druid.security.basic.authentication.BasicHTTPAuthenticator] org.apache.druid.sql.avatica.DruidMeta - No successful authentication org.apache.druid.sql.avatica.DruidMeta - Authentication failed for prepare org.apache.calcite.avatica.remote.AvaticaRuntimeException: null at org.apache.druid.sql.avatica.DruidMeta.doAuthenticate(DruidMeta.java:308) ~[druid-sql-27.0.0.jar:27.0.0] at org.apache.druid.sql.avatica.DruidMeta.prepare(DruidMeta.java:279) ~[druid-sql-27.0.0.jar:27.0.0] at org.apache.calcite.avatica.remote.LocalService.apply(LocalService.java:195) ~[avatica-core-1.17.0.jar:1.17.0] at org.apache.calcite.avatica.remote.Service$PrepareRequest.accept(Service.java:1215) ~[avatica-core-1.17.0.jar:1.17.0] at org.apache.calcite.avatica.remote.Service$PrepareRequest.accept(Service.java:1186) ~[avatica-core-1.17.0.jar:1.17.0]
well, it worked when curl so the ideia of fixing the "info" object on if (parsedBody?.request == 'openConnection' ) is ok
[f***} nodejs.. claude rewrote in python and worked
