Hello everyone, I added a new historical to my druid cluster and now I have 4 historical nodes in total. But how can I redistribute the data equally across the 4 nodes? Is there a way to do this manually?

Hi strikersgood, The Coordinator has some dynamic config parameters that affect segment load and balancing. Please refer to this section in the docs and let us know if you have further questions: https://druid.apache.org/docs/latest/configuration/#dynamic-configuration Thanks. John

Thank you for your answer, but there are so many parameters. If you have had this experience before, is there a specific parameter that is useful?

Coordinator should eventually balance things out, but there are a couple of properties that I see regularly adjusted:
Copy code
{
  "maxSegmentsToMove": 100,
  "balancerComputeThreads": 5,
  "maxSegmentsInNodeLoadingQueue": 500,
}
However if you have a newer release with Smart Segment loading, you should see this parameter setting:
Copy code
"smartSegmentLoading": true
in which case the coordinator should already be set up to balance things properly. But if you don't see any change after a day or so you can try turning off smartSegmentLoading, set the other three parameters, and see if that makes a difference.
