Hi Team, Does the "QueryCountStatsMonitor" report metrics for broker? In our cluster, we have enabled it on both broker and historical processes but I find all the values as "0" in the broker logs. The metrics seem to be correctly reported in the historicals. Is something else needed to get the metrics reported in the broker? Druid version: 27.0.0 Regards, AR.

I think you have to count the metric, not sum it up. As an alternative you could count the query/time metric instead.

Its the former:

the number of queries since the metric was reported last time

Thanks Laksh. Is there something extra needed to get the broker to log the query metrics correctly? I checked again today and all the values (count, success count, failed count, interr count) continue to be reported as "0" in the broker logs.

You have to include the

QueryCountStatsMonitor

in the configuration.

is included in the list of monitors in both broker & historical configs. The issue is that the values are all being logged as "0" in the broker logs. They are having proper values in the historical logs. Thanks, AR.

that’s weird, cross check the config in the broker’s logs to be sure that the monitor is getting registered

I double checked and I can see it in the list of loaded monitors in the broker logs. And it is logging every 15 min as configured. Just that the values are all "0". Anything else that I can check. 🤔
