Hi Everyone, Is there a possibility to shift segments from one historical tier to other based on load rules? • I want to retain my datasource for a total of 2 years. • I want to save recent 3 months in say Hot_tier historical and after 3 months are done, I want those segments to shift to cold_tier and save there for the next 21 months. Basically, it is one datasource but saved on different historical tiers based on period. It is important that the segments are saved mutually exclusively in different tiers. How can I specify this? • I see loadByInterval option but that means I need to hard code the intervals.

Hi Mounika, Yes this is very common thing to do: Rule 1: loadByPeriod: P3M -> Hot_Tier, 2x replicas Rule 2: loadByPeriod: P21M -> Cold_Tier, 1x replicas Rule 3 or Default rule: dropForever The rules are applied in a pecking order, each rule has priority over the rules that follow it.
