Hi team, after update the Druid version from 27.0.0 to 28.0.0 I saw that the Historical not priority to re-balance the segments load on each node Is there an node for this (I mean is that safe if historical node not balance the segment loaded) or any configuration I should change to push those rebalance?

Hi Nguyen, There should not be an issue with imbalance so long as at least one copy of each segment is loaded somewhere ... I have seen with the newer releases that the Coordinator will eventually rebalance everything ... how long after you loaded segments did you take this screenshot? If only an hour or so, I suggest checking again after several hours or a day to see if it has balanced.

Thanks Join, The imbalance was there 2 days, before on version 27.0.0 I can see if the imbalance happen there are always having the load and drop segments tasks on the historical node. Seems on 28.0.0 those task be deprioritised I guess

If this is due to Smart Segment Loading, then you should be able to turn it off and go back to the old method of loading segments ... https://druid.apache.org/docs/latest/configuration/#smart-segment-loading
