For the timing part --
• Historical/Peon times are for the subquery that is sent by the Broker ... this is helpful to understand where the query time is being spent (i.e. Broker level or Data Node level)
• Router vs Broker -- I would expect minimal time differences here, but if you are measuring for performance I think router would be more realistic
Fyi I also wanted to mention, if you are also measuring client response time, I have found that the power of the client machine greatly affects the response time seen from the client. With very beefy clients I have seen as little as 10s difference between client and Broker timings ... but with smaller clients I often see 50-100ms or more difference, depending on the query load.
