hi,
we have `"druid.broker.http.compressionCodec"= "identity"` on query nodes for HLL usage cause our tests (cpu analysis) showed that the compression between query and historicals takes most CPU time

ok ..thank you will try it out how can we speed up on historical side any suggestion ?

this should speed the historical also - cause removes compression

theta sketches won’t compress much with general compression libraries (and can even expand in size) so it’s probably wasted compression, too

there’ll be an actual compression option for them at some point but there are some complications upgrading to a sketches library version that supports compression
