Generally the emitters that are provided as Druid core or contrib extensions, as part of the project, are going to be the most well maintained

I think the `statsd` emitter is relatively popular

The `kafka` one is also relatively popular, as many things integrate with Kafka and can pull metrics from that

Including Druid itself (you can use Druid to monitor Druid)

Thanks <@U0344FW86DD> however, in our env we are extensively using Grafana Cloud with Grafana agents which are responsible for fetching metrics hence I asked about druid-operator by opstree since we can configure agent to pull metrics from the exporter.

ah, got it. I'm not too familiar with Prometheus so I may not be able to help further then! maybe someone else will know
