yeah. usually those topics would have similar schemas across topics. E.g. you may have some click activity data for different geo-locations in different topics but the data schema itself will be the same. But there is no hard requirement for these topics to have any common dimension. Druid is very flexible when it comes to ingesting data with dynamic schema.

Yes, @Abhishek Agarwal Druid does a good job of accommodating schema changes. When I read documentation about similar products, solutions like Apache Parquet seem to come up. I'm still looking for details about how they handle queries referencing specific dimensions and metrics that might not exist as the schema evolves. Druid does a nice job with that.
