I have done upgrage from 0.22.1 to 27.0.0 without major problems. Also I upgraded java from 8 to 11. Main issue I had to deal with was change in json structure for ingestion. I recomend you to read every changelog from 0.23.0 to find if anything is affecting on your setup. If not, i am pretty sure rolling upgrage will work out without problems
