IMHO druid is easier to run on k8s than timescaleDB, and the licensing for the timescaleDB can be a deal break for some users (the good features like compressed databased, remote replication, etc) all over their special license that mostly to block reselling like AWS did to elasticsearch timescale also requires a fixed schema, and you need to manually partition your data in other dimensions other than time but the differences are too big and the scenarios are too many to have a definitive win/lose for all sitations
