Tasks don't emit CPU metrics but Middle-managers do. since CPU metrics are host metrics.

Task should emit jvm metrics like memory right?

jvm yes. but not at the host level

Is there any druid metrics to get - (a) Other mem uses by druid processes apart from heap - eg direct buffer (b) Host wise total mem (RAM) uses . I see

sys/mem/used

but it does not correlates well to what I see in the linux system .
