how are you running it on kubernetes ? it seems like you are using k8s extension and not zk. is the extension configured correctly ? do you have appropriate rbac ?

I have heard of scenarios where the task is instructed to shut down prematurely, from the console's perspective the task was aborted, but from the task's perspective it shut down successfully. I don't know if this is the case here though ...
