Running Druid version 2022.02.0-iap w/o msq extension

I believe

you mentioned is an Imply version, not Druid’s For SQL ingestion you need the Multi-stage Query engine which was a Druid 24 new feature. Druid 24 is from Sept 2022, so your Imply Druid version is not capable to use it.
