In general, Imply engineering work on Druid is contributed to the Apache Druid project. Imply's distribution has a more frequent cadence of release, so you may see some features arrive there early. When that occurs, the next release of Apache Druid usually catches up. There may be some exceptions where the integration into Apache Druid takes more than one release cycle.
