Hi, where can I view user login logs for the web interface? There are logs for the query component, but only for unsuccessful logins; I can't find logs for successful logins. Also, logs for when a user logs out of the web interface. Could you please direct me to where I can find such logs, or is there perhaps a debug level I need to enable?

Hi Team, We have an old, but massive cluster still running 0.13. And want to see if i can just upgrade coordinator to 0.14 that has the new web console. So i don't have to upgrade the other 100+ nodes in that cluster. Anyone done that before?

Hi, have druid 29.0.1, druid doctor provide the strange message: It looks like are running Java 17.0.10+8-LTS. Druid officially supports Java 8 or 11 But, according the official recommendation: Druid fully supports Java 8u92+, Java 11, and Java 17. The project team recommends Java 17 Can we ignore that doctor's warning or where is the true?

All - On the Datasources tab of the Druid web console, with "Show segment timeline" toggled on and "Segment count" selected, if I look at the segments for one of the datasources for a particular interval, it shows the below metrics for a date. Daily total count: 44 --> Is this the total number of datasources on that date? It doesn't seem to change when I switch datasources Count: 1 --> Is this the number of files in that segment for the selected datasource? Also the y-axis contains repeated values: 0, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1 --> What does this mean? Regards, AR. Slack Conversation

Hello everyone, I have a question. When Druid captures Kafka data in real-time, I segment it by day. When I want to delete the segment of the day immediately, it cannot be deleted. When the segment is in real-time, is there any way to overwrite the data of the modified segment

Question about the web security and authentication. I found some good documentation about the basic security and creating the user with API. I am not entirely sure why it is not working. I added the neccesary stuff to a properties file in _common/ . Do I need to add it to all services like broker, controller etc? And does it then automatically ask for authentic when going on a web console?

I got the authentication all settled and it works, but kafka running on my machine cannot connect. From documentation I figure i could set up another authenticator chain for kafka only. What else could I do for this? The moment I remove the authentication druid connects with my services perfectl.y. I am rather confused about the security part and setting one part for services and one for users

Two Feature Requests for the UI: In "Load Data", at the "Verify & Submit" stage: 1. It would be nice to have a "Start Suspended" checkbox. Right now I start almost every ingestion suspended and have to type "suspended: true" each time. Unsure if this affects others but I almost never start an ingestion without doing some checks first. 2. Ability to diff against previous version. I need #1 above because I always want to diff against previous version and double check my work before submitting a change to an ingestion. I have had accidental catastrophic consequences because of both 1 and 2 missing and forgetting to start the ingestion suspended. Because of these catastrophes I always start suspended and always diff against previous version before hitting Resume; but it's easy for human error to creep in and forget to type "suspended: true"

Hi Team, Is there a way to set the default number of "max tasks" for a MSQ query? In v27.0.0, it defaults to "full cluster capacity". We want to set it to the smallest possible capacity to avoid someone accidentally taking up all the workers. In the previous version (v24.0.2), it used to default to the smallest possible value (2). I looked at the config but was unable to find any param to control this. Thanks, AR.

Is it possible to create a sharable link to Druid console Explore with dimensions/metrics/filter/etc set?

Feature request for the UI: Can we have multi-select? For example, if I want to kill 100 tasks. Or if I want to suspend 30 supervisors. It would be great if I can first select the tasks / supervisors/ etc. and then click the action button once (which then apply to all the selected items). CC: @Vadim

What is the purpose of this change: https://github.com/apache/druid/pull/16298/files#diff-6bcac58e8f71cd9a42f05a7dd340a05edf4bde2b4a33c4f2fcf097d907836c86R355 I believe the API will still allow the reset call on supervisor that is currently running. This change makes it a bit of a pain to reset unhealthy supervisor as now it is a two steps (suspend and reset)

Hi All, I see that autocompaction mechanism has been reworked in 31.0.0 and now we can have autocompaction task superviosrs. 1. Can I have more than one autocompact task supervisors for one dataSource? For example I need to have query granularity PT1H and segment granularity P1W for last month, query granularity P1D and segment granularity P1W for data older than 1 month but not older than previous year , query granularity PT1D and segment granularity P1Y for and less dimentions for data older than prev year. 2. I have autocompaction configured through web console but can't see related supervisors. Will it work in parallel with the autocompact supervisor that I will submit for the same datasource?

druid-protobuf-extensions

extension as per the documentation. We are very early starting to use this however we noted that Input format dropdown in streaming-data-loader doesn't appear to include protobuf. Does the extension not add it? How can we tell we have loaded the extension correctly?
