Anyone testing using RedPanda ?  in theory it should work fine

it's 100% compatible AFAIK, even kafka-connect is plug and play

There is but it is very out of date at this point. I am not even going to link to it. Druid is evolving very rapidly with new capabilities being added in every release that change how you model (e.g. <https://druid.apache.org/docs/latest/querying/nested-columns.html|nested columns> added in 24.0), ingest (e.g. <https://druid.apache.org/docs/latest/tutorials/tutorial-msq-extern.html|SQL based ingestion>, added in 24.0), and query (e.g. SQL window function, coming in 26.0) your data. I think the most up to date place to learn about Druid are the tutorials in the Druid docs (linked above). Imply also provides a set of guided courses for Druid: <https://learn.imply.io/page/learn-apache-druid>
