MongoDB Source: ISO Timestamps show up as strings workaround?
Hi all, we’re currently trying to setup a MongoDB -> BigQuery sync and are currently blocked because iso strings in mongodb will show up as strings rather then timestamps in our destinations -> Makes aggregations unnecessary hard.
I know that MongoDB is in alpha but was wondering if there is an easy to setup/maintain workaround available?

Thanks!

Hey @Jens Teichert, it's possible to transform the data after it is loaded into your destination. We have a three-part tutorial on transforming destination data using SQL and dbt. Here's a link to the first part of the tutorial, it has links to the other two parts: https://docs.airbyte.com/operator-guides/transformation-and-normalization/transformations-with-sql/
Other than that, please add your comments and thumbs up to the github issue to help with prioritization!
