Any clue why this would show up on the UI for Connections, Sources, and Destinations? I can go to settings, but I can only get this for the others. Logs aren't saying anything obvious, and I've restarted the whole compose a couple times.
2022-12-22 214901 ERROR i.a.s.a.ApiHelper(execute):28 - Unexpected Exception java.lang.IllegalStateException: Duplicate key b601e028-e003-4290-9acc-5fc72ca44776 (attempted merging values io.airbyte.config.ActorCatalogFetchEvent@50671700[id=<null>,actorId=b601e028-e003-4290-9acc-5fc72ca44776,actorCatalogId=29181719-0c50-4489-b5aa-03c0e10cb227,configHash=<null>,connectorVersion=<null>,createdAt=1671739270] and io.airbyte.config.ActorCatalogFetchEvent@69081582[id=<null>,actorId=b601e028-e003-4290-9acc-5fc72ca44776,actorCatalogId=d664d0dd-2ded-4a9e-9737-fba55e1e79eb,configHash=<null>,connectorVersion=<null>,createdAt=1671739270])

Hey Jon, did you solved? I also have the same problem :( Does restarting the whole compose help?
s
happened to me as well, I solved it by deleting all docker volumes as well. See here for reference: https://airbytehq.slack.com/archives/C021JANJ6TY/p1671147894005319?thread_ts=1671147588.086179&cid=C021JANJ6TY

Hey everyone! Sorry to hear this is happening, let's try and find a commonality in your setups - @Jon M and @TAZO could you please include these details? OS Version / Instance: Ubuntu Memory / Disk: you can use something like 8Gb / 30GB Deployment: Airbyte Version: @Sam Stoelinga I don't believe you included these details in the other thread, could you please post them? Thanks!
s
I don't think it matters since we all use docker and error seems an application error but I use archlinux
16gb memory and 512gb disk
m
had same issue
found the reason
now I am not sure whether it should be fixed at the fetch or at the creation of
actor_catalog_fetch_event
in my case there is 2 events with same timestamp for one actor id. and the query executed here should be using
row_number()
instead of
rank()
. I’m new to airbyte so not sure if there should be fetch events with same timestamp but the change I suggested should fix this error

Just restarted the compose several times and it fixed. Haven't had it again. Weird issue
s
what @Michel Galle described is likely the same issue I had. Hoping someone from Airbyte team can look into reviewing the patch. @Nataly Merezhuk (Airbyte)
s
Hey @Michel Galle, thanks for narrowing down the issue. Can you create a github issue for this, or if you already have one can you link?
m
just created an issue
s
It's been added to the team's backlog @Michel Galle hopefully updates soon.
