Anyone deployed Airbyte / helm on GKE using Pulumi? I succeeded to set up the cluster and deploy the helm chart, but I can't seem to access the UI (having trouble configuring ingress etc). Looking for some examples. Thanks!

Hi Krisjan, I can't say I've seen anyone using Pulumi recently. I did find this thread though and looks like the UI and the API do not work with Pulumi: https://airbytehq-team.slack.com/archives/C021JANJ6TY/p1636499837256900?thread_ts=1636447942.244800&cid=C021JANJ6TY Please feel free to create a feature request using GitHub!

I did manage to deploy Airbyte using Helm on K8S / GKE, using Pulumi (with a lot of trial and error). If anyone is interested, let me know.

Yes - very interested! Could you please provide details on how you did that? It would really benefit the community :)

Hi, @Krisjan Oldekamp. Following up on this thread... (1) are you still using Pulumi with Airbyte, and (2) have you tried out the new Terraform API as of yet? I'm investigating if a potential <https://github.com/pulumi/pulumi-terraform-bridge%7CTerraform<>Pulumi bridge> would be helpful for users, on top of the new Terraform adaptor. I'm curious if you might be interested in contributing - or otherwise if this would be interesting for your use case.
cc @Andreas who previously expressed interest in Pulumi interop ☝️

👋 Hello @AJ Steers As pulumi is my company's standard for IAC, I would be interested in a Terraform <> pulumi bridge ! Is it sthg Airbyte aims at? For reference, here is a short pulumi provider implementation from Carlo Scarioni. Maybe we'll use a similar tool in the meantime.

I am a huge fan of Pulumi also - and for the Pulumi bridge in general. While we don't have resources to build it ourselves as of now, I'd certainly be excited to see something like this. (Also - many data folks are Python folks, so Pulumi could be a better match for some of our users who are intimidated by HCL.)
